Screetch Family

Antoinette Screetch wears a lot of hats. She is a single mom, a nursing student, a full-time home healthcare worker and an overcomer. Antoinette is a Lexington native who has remained strong through some tough times during the course of her life, or trials, as she calls them. When friends told her about Lexington Habitat for Humanity, she knew it could be a life changer for her family. To Antoinette, owning her own home means “being one step closer to becoming self-sufficient, not having to constantly move and proving that I can overcome my past.” Antoinette is grateful her children Zachaeus (3), Zachariah (3), Amariel (14) and Ramez (18) will soon have a quality, affordable home.
