"...the experience brought us together like nothing else we do."
"Most of us recognize that what we put into the world, if given without condition, is returned in spades. Sponsoring a house with Lexington Habitat for Humanity is a great example of that philosophy in action.
I have volunteered on Habitat houses for a number of years but my sense of wonder is always renewed when another house is completed. Working with Lexington Habitat, and seeing a new house built with the hands of the partner family and community volunteers, renews your faith in what is possible in this world.
So what did we, at Tenmast Software, get out of this process? Almost all of our employees volunteered on the houses and the experience brought us together like nothing else we do. We have many wonderful memories of working together on a project that had a great tangible result for our community.
As a business owner, I couldn't have created that kind of camaraderie and teamwork in any other way. I encourage all businesses in the community to get your employees involved with Lexington Habitat for Humanity. That's just good business."

"We had about 30-35 people out ther every weekend working on the home, working together, and learning skills they've never learned before...building teamwork outside of the workplace.
At the end of the project, they first thing they asked me was when we could start buidling the next home--because it was a great TEAMBUILDING exercise.
I've participated in many teambuilding exercises outside of this and this one by far is the best one I've been a part of."
