Application 2024

Thank you for your interest in serving our community as a member of the Lexington Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors. The current application period is closed. Please check back for updates.

A world where everyone has a decent place to live.

Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.

Application Process

Submitting your application is easy! Simply complete the fields below, upload your letter of interest and a resume that includes work and volunteer experience. Upon submission, you will receive a confirmation email. Please make sure you provide an email address and phone number that will help us get in touch with you. If you need an accommodation to complete the application process, please contact Derek Wilson at or 859-252-2224 ext. 101.

All applications will be reviewed by the Board Development and Executive Committees. We hope to provide an interactive review process to allow the committee members and individual applicants to get to know each other and determine a good fit. A short list of candidates will be selected from the candidate pool and asked to participate in an interview.

Following the interview process, candidates who have been invited and agree to serve will be submitted for consideration to the full Board of Directors at the May meeting. Successful candidates will be notified in the days following this meeting, they will participate in an orientation process and their term will begin with the new fiscal year, July 1.

The current application period is closed. Please check back for updates.
