New Partnership Blooms Between Lex Habitat and HFH of Madison & Clark Counties

LEXINGTON, KY (November 18, 2025) — Two neighboring Habitat for Humanity affiliates are joining forces to offer ReStore donation pickup services in Madison and Clark counties. As Habitat for Humanity of Madison & Clark Counties reallocates resources and concentrates its efforts on serving more people through building homes, the Lexington Habitat for Humanity ReStore will expand its no-cost donation pickups and its deconstruction program into the counties to ensure seamless, uninterrupted service for the area.

The Madison & Clark Counties ReStore in Richmond will close its doors on December 16, 2025. The Lexington ReStore will begin to serve the area in January 2026.

“By consolidating our resources, we can better focus on our housing mission while our partners at Lexington Habitat make sure that the residents of Madison and Clark Counties have access to ReStore donation pickup services,” said Bryan Kirby, President of Habitat for Humanity of Madison & Clark Counties.

“We are honored to partner with our neighbors in Madison and Clark Counties to provide ReStore services,” said Lexington Habitat CEO Darryl Neher. “Not only does the ReStore support our ability to provide a pathway to homeownership for families in the Commonwealth, but it also diverts hundreds of tons of materials from landfills every year. This partnership ensures that ReStore services continue during a time of transition and further empowers Habitat of Madison & Clark Counties to focus on what they do best: building homes, communities and hope in central Kentucky.”

The collaboration will allow both Habitat for Humanity affiliates to continue pursuing their shared vision of world where everyone has a decent place to live. To learn more about the Lexington ReStore’s no-cost donation pickup and deconstruction services, please visit lexingtonrestore.com.
