Registration Opens for Shamrock Shuffle 3k

Lexington Habitat for Humanity is thrilled to announce that registration for the Shamrock Shuffle 3k is now open. The 20th annual run/walk will be held on Saturday, March 14th with a

route through downtown Lexington. Take advantage of early bird registration for a discounted price of $30 per person through Monday, January 5th. To register, visit ShamrockShuffle3k.com.

This chip-timed fun run/walk is open to all ages and levels. The beloved Lexington Habitat tradition will kick off racing season in Lexington with awards, prizes and a costume contest — for people AND dogs!

“For 20 years, the Shamrock Shuffle 3K has brought our community together around a shared commitment to affordable housing,” said Lexington Habitat for Humanity CEO Darryl Neher. “As we look back, we’re grateful for the sponsors, volunteers, runners and neighbors who have made this tradition what it is. Their spirit and support have carried this race for two decades — and we’re excited to shuffle for shelter once again.”

“I started the Shamrock Shuffle to honor my dad’s legacy and his passion for Lexington Habitat,” said Shamrock Shuffle founder Jennifer Smith Combs. “It’s exciting to see how the city has embraced the race through the years and it has become a mainstay of the St. Patrick’s Day celebration.”
