Home Dedications
At the end of each build, we host a home dedication with the family, volunteers, sponsors, board and the LHFH team. The family is presented to their keys to their new home and we celebrate their achievement.
In June 2020, we hosted out first ever virtual home dedication to celebrate Patrick, Stacy and their children achieving homeownership. We hope to get back to celebrating in-person this year. Attending dedications is a wonderful way to connect with our mission. Watch their virtual home dedication here.

Donated Goods
We accept donations of new and used home goods, appliances, furniture and building materials that meet minimum standards. View what we can and cannot accept here.

Shop Online
We launched an e-commerce site for the first time in 2020. Our online shopping option now features large specialty items, such as our cabinet sets. View our online store here.

Marketing
We drive traffic to the ReStore through a variety of efforts including radio, digital, print, social media and email. Unlike a traditional retailer, the primary focus of ReStore marketing is targeting potential donors rather than shoppers. View examples of our digital ads.

Paint Recycling Program
In 2008, we received a grant to help start a latex paint bulking or "paint recycling" program. Since then we have bulked over 1,000 batches of paint, saving 122,000+ partial gallons of paint (donated by the community) from the landfill in Lexington. That equates to over 300 tons of material... the weight of three Boeing 757 airplanes! The paint is then sold at the ReStore to support the mission of LHFH. Watch here to learn more.
