LEXINGTON (March 6, 2024) – Lexington Habitat for Humanity invites community members with a heart for affordable housing to apply to join their Board of Directors. The organization seeks applicants with a variety of backgrounds, experiences and talents. Applications will be accepted through April 11, 2025 at www.lexhabitat.org/boardapplication.
“We are seeking passionate, committed leaders to help guide Lexington Habitat for Humanity’s mission and impact,” said CEO Darryl Neher. “Serving on our Board of Directors is an opportunity to make a lasting difference in our community by advancing affordable homeownership and strengthening the foundation for families to thrive. We encourage those who share our vision to apply and be part of this important work.”
The Board of Directors sets the organization’s strategic direction, makes high-level policies and supports the vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Additional details regarding expectations can be found on the application.
Incoming Board members will be elected in May 2025 and begin their four-year term in July 2025.
The Lexington Habitat Board of Directors helps shape the affordable housing landscape in Lexington.
